This study was based on research among 1,000 full-time U.S. employees to explore workplace benefits literacy. Key findings include:

  • Those who say they understand their benefits very well are most satisfied with them.
  • High quality benefits materials are important to drive benefits understanding and engagement, but large opportunity exists to improve benefits materials.
  • Specific employee segments are underserved when it comes to benefits education, including Asians, Hispanics/Latinos, baby boomers, Gen-X, and lower-income employees.
